Choy Leow

Choy Leow is principal architect and consultant. He received his Master’s Degree in Architecture at Iowa State. Choy and Kevin have a long-standing relationship since Choy was a mentor to Kevin in high school when Kevin was pursuing the idea of a degree in architecture. Choy met with Kevin a number of times to offer guidance through the design of our project. We also consider him a family friend.

Gary Irene

Gary Irene has been building custom homes for over 30 years. Gary helped Kevin with the residential construction process and with locating suppliers as a mentor and consultant throughout the project.

Phil Lind

Phil has many fond nicknames on the project: stairmaster and cutman are just a couple. Phil is a weekend warrior, always on the go, and has decades of carpentry experience. Phil led the build of several sheds, garages, and even the new construction of the family cabin in central Minnesota.

Tim Lind

Tim is a professional plumber and Kevin’s little brother. He is great at problem solving and working out the details. He’s another weekend warrior, driving up from central Iowa to help out.

Tom Colvin

Tom is a local carpenter who is eager to learn new processes and dive in to whatever is in the queue for the day. He was hired to help with the day-to-day and he’s been a great addition to the team!

Craig Kamman

Craig is our realtor, helping us to sell our house, find the property to make this house possible, and connected us with resources in the community. We also call him friend.

Tyler

A friend and skilled finish carpenter, Tyler made each project he took on seem easy! He was a pro at hanging cabinets, building and finishing stairs, and working the tile saw.

Jennifer Beeson

Jennifer spent many hours with me helping us pick out tile for each room. I would show her a couple pictures and she was easily able to get inside my head and steer us in the right direction.
